Russia Visa In Dubai

If you are a passport holder from one of the countries or territories listed below and you are visiting the UAE, you will need a visa in advance.

Just get off at Dubai International Airport and drive to the place where your passport was stamped. Your passport will be stamped if it is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and if you are a resident of the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Canada and valid for 6 months from the date of issue. A US citizen with a US passport can apply for a visa to Russia, which will only be valid for a total of three years under a bilateral agreement approved in 2012. 

A British citizen with a British passport must apply to an authorized Russian diplomatic mission in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Canadian citizens holding a Canadian passport are entitled to a visa suitable for their visit to Russia.

National law does not allow documentary evidence, but the Russian Consulate has the right to request additional documentation to process your visa application, to ask you for an interview or to extend the processing time for your visa. US citizens with a second passport can apply for a visa with their first passport, and the invitation must be filled out according to their US passport.

This is followed by Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Stateless persons traveling to the Russian Federation and having received an invitation from a Russian citizen or foreigner registered as a permanent resident of the Russian Federation shall receive a joint and private visa. The visa is issued for a period of three years from the date of issue of the invitation, and a full period of three years is indicated at the time of application and completion of the visa application. A visa can also be issued after completion of a two-year stay in Russia or for a period of one year.

To obtain an e-visa, foreign citizens need a completed application form with complete and valid data. The holder of a diplomatic passport, who intends to visit Russia for official business, will continue to apply for a permit – a residence visa based on his official passport. 

The following documents should be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate in order to obtain a visa for entry to Russia. Citizens of about 60 nations are asked for a visa to enter Russia, as their stay does not last more than 180 days, starting with the first day of entry. The Russian Consulate in Europe takes 3-10 working days to process the visa. In addition, Russian visas issued by consulates in Europe may have a waiting period of up to 60 days before entering Russia (i.e. a maximum of 180 days). Once the visa is issued, the person must travel to Russia for at least 90 days, and not more than 120 days.
